Guide to buying your first knitting machine
To get you started on your machine knitting journey, we have put together this free series of classes addressing some common newbie questions – Guide to Buying Your First Machine
There are a lot of second-hand machines out there waiting for a new home, but not all of them are worthy (even if they are free!). Unless the machine has been reconditioned by a professional knitting machine technician, some work needs to be done before you can start knitting. We will address that in this free class as well.
What you will learn
The different classes, brands and gauges of knitting machines. This will help you decided which machine to start with.
Where to look for second hand machines and what to look for before you make your purchase so you don’t end up with a dud.
What to do with your new purchase before you knit a single stitch.
After completing this class, you will be ready to start learning from the Beginner Class.
